The Ewaipanomas: A race of human-like creatures from the forests of Venezuela. According to the voyager, Sir Walter Raleigh in his second expedition to the area in 1617, there lived a tribe of headless people. They had their mouths in their chests and face just above. It is believed that these were actually the Carib people of Yekunana. In their culture, having high shoulders was seen as sign of beauty, so people tried to shorten the length of their neck and increase the height of their shoulders to a remarkable length.

Los Ewaipanomas: Una raza de humanos que vivían como criaturas en los bosques de Venezuela. Según el viajero, Sir Walter Raleigh en su segunda expedición a la zona en 1617, vivía una tribu de gente sin cabeza. Tenían sus bocas en sus pechos y cara solo por encima. Se cree que eran en realidad los pueblos caribes de la tribu Yekunana. En su cultura, tener hombros altos fue visto como signo de belleza, así la gente trató de acortar la longitud de su cuello y aumentar la altura de los hombros a una longitud notable.
