This is a remix exercise of the year 2007. I was in the third year of fine arts career and the idea was to make an oil painting that involved the technique of remixing. In this case, I chose three artists: Rafael Sanzio (1483-1520), Edgar Degas (1834-1917) and Salvador Dalí (1904-1989).
In this exercise, elements of the works of these three artists were taken and combine to make a new work. Rafael, the bottom of his landscapes, Degas, his bathers, and Dali his famous giraffe on fire. I made many sketches of this type, well finished. Someday I will rescue this material.
The logo "Made in Venezuela" has a figure of a little Idol, belonging to the series Dabajuroid, found near Pecaya, Estado Falcón, Venezuela.
Este es un ejercicio de remezcla del año 2007. Yo me encontraba en el tercer año de la carrera de artes plásticas y la idea era hacer una pintura al óleo que involucrara la técnica de remezcla. En este caso, yo elegí tres artistas: Rafael Sanzio (1483 – 1520), Edgar Degas (1834 – 1917) y Salvador Dalí (1904 – 1989).
En este ejercicio se tomaron elementos de las obras de estos tres artistas y se combinan para hacer una obra nueva. De Rafael, el fondo de sus paisajes, de Degas, sus bañistas, y de Dalí su célebre Jirafa en Llamas. Hice muchos bocetos de este tipo, bien acabados. Algún día rescataré ese material.
El logo “Hecho en Venezuela” tiene una figura de un pequeño ídolo, perteneciente a la serie Dabajuroide, encontrada cerca de Pecaya, Estado Falcón, Venezuela.
